Dr. Walz has been a physician at the Siouxland Community Health Center since August 2002. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of South Dakota (USD) in 1995, and went on to attend the USD School of Medicine, where she graduated with a medical degree in 1999. She completed her residency at the Siouxland Medical Education Foundation in 2002.
Walz has had her HIV Specialist certification since 2004, was medical director from 2007 to 2012, and has been on various committees at UnityPoint Health-St. Luke’s and Mercy Medical Center.
Dr. Walz is board certified in Family Medicine, is a member of American Academy of Family Physicians, Iowa Academy of Family Physicians, and the President of Woodbury Medical Society.
