Our Benefits Package:

Employees who work full-time (at least 30 hours per week) are eligible for the following: 

  • Medical Insurance (including Rx) – Cost Sharing with SCHC & employee
  • Dental Insurance- Cost sharing with SCHC & employee
  • Vision Insurance – Cost sharing with SCHC & employee
  • Flexible Spending Account (Medical and Dependent Care)
  • 401K Retirement Plan – with 5% match from SCHC
  • Group term life insurance for employee, spouse, and dependent children – 100% paid by SCHC
  • Short term disability for employee -100% paid by SCHC (for employees working 32 hours per week or more)
  • Long term disability for employee – 100% paid by SCHC (for employees working 32 hours per week or more)
  • Supplemental insurance policies available for employee purchase including: Life insurance, disability insurance, cancer insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, critical illness insurance, and accident insurance
  • Paid time off (PTO): accrues each pay period up to 120 hours your first year of employment.
  • Holidays (combined with PTO bank in 2025 holiday hours are accrued per pay period equaling 80 hours based on 2080 hours per year):
    • Clinic closed on the following days: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, & Christmas Day
  • Tuition assistance up to $3,000.00 per year and a total of $10,000.00 per employee
  • Student Loan Forgiveness/Repayment Programs including National Health Service Corp, Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, NURSE Corps, Iowa PRIMECARRE
  • Nationally certified paid on-the-job training programs offered for Medical Assisting and Dental Assisting – 100% paid for by SCHC
  • Employee Assistance Program for employee and immediate family members
  • Business Casual Work Environment including the ability to work from home depending on position

Employees who work part-time (20-29 hours per week) are eligible for the following: 

  • Flexible Spending Account (Medical and Dependent Care)
  • 401K Retirement Plan – with 5% match from SCHC
  • Paid time off (PTO): accrues each pay period up to 60 hours your first year of employment
  • Employee Assistance Program for employee and immediate family members
  • Business Casual Work Environment

Employees who work part-time or PRN (less than 20 hours per week) are eligible for the following: 

  • 401K Retirement Plan – with 5% match from SCHC
  • Employee Assistance Program for employee and immediate family members
  • Business Casual Work Environment
