Dr. McTavous-Mosley received her bachelor’s degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and later obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry. After graduating she completed a General Practice Residency and went on to practice in a variety of clinical settings (corporate, private, and community-based).
Before coming to Siouxland Community Health Center, she served as Assistant Professor in the Department of General Dentistry and Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Dentistry in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. McTavous-Mosley is married to Dr. Albert Mosley, and they are the parents of four children.
Dr. McTavous-Mosley is very passionate about serving others and giving back to the community. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family (especially cruises) and preparing gourmet meals.
