Amy Payne has been a Physician Assistant at Siouxland Community Health Center since April 1, 2020.
Amy completed her bachelor of science degree from Morningside College in 1991. After graduation, she worked in a Social Services capacity for over 10 years. She then attended the University of South Dakota PA program, where she earned her Master’s in Physician Assistance Sciences.
Upon her graduation from USD, she worked at Indian Health Services Winnebago Hospital for 5 years where she was awarded PA of the year for all of IHS. Following her employment at IHS, she worked at Family Health Care of Siouxland as a PA and was their Diabetic Educator for 9 years.
She is currently a member of the AAPA and the SD PA society.
