Certified Car Seat Technician Service
Joni Roberts is a Certified Nurse Midwife in our prenatal department who is also a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST).
Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death in children under the age of 14 in the U.S. It is important for caregivers to have the most up-to-date, accurate information about transporting their children safely. Our certified Child Passenger Safety Technician will provide education and best practice recommendations to families and caregivers.
We encourage you to bring your car seat to your postpartum appointment(s) to be checked by our CPST. This way, you will know FOR SURE that your infant is placed properly in its seat and will have a safer ride home with you.
