Anasara Henry, DNP, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC is a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner in the areas of Psychiatric Mental Health and Adult Geriatric Primary Care. She earned her Doctorate from the University of Iowa in 2017 with a special emphasis in population level healthcare.
Dr. Henry has over 15 years of experience in healthcare. She currently serves as a consultant for the Iowa Primary Care Association’s Project Echo, and she’s also affiliated with UnityPoint Health as a Psychiatric Hospitalist.
Dr. Henry’s professional interests include: managing complex mental health disorders, treatment of geriatric syndromes, and improving access to mental health care for all Iowans. She is a member of multiple professional organizations, and serves as the Immediate Past President of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, Iowa Chapter.
