Dr. Hausman-Miller obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at Creighton University, her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency with the United States Navy at the Naval Dental Center in Norfolk, VA.
After serving four years as a dentist in the US Navy, Dr. Hausman-Miller returned to Iowa in 2006, and has been a full-time dentist at the Siouxland Community Health Center since that time. Dr. Hausman-Miller became Dental Director in 2014. Her primary focus has been quality and integration. She recognizes the importance oral health plays in a patient’s overall health and wellness. Her role transformed to Education Coordinator in 2022.
In her spare time, Dr. Hausman-Miller and her husband enjoy watching their two daughters play sports.
